Send Help!

Typically, I spend most of my days searching through houses online. I just love looking at beautiful homes. Now that it we were actually beginning our journey, looking at all of those houses online became overwhelming very quickly. I mean there are sooooo many to choose from. My best friend Carla is a real estate agent (she lives in Bossier City, LA). She is my go to for everything life related! She took charge of finding us the perfect agent in Nashville to help us with our search. I trust her judgement, and she knows my personality very well. She paired us with Garren McCloud of Berkshire Hathaway Homeservice Woodmont Realty. I first spoke with Garren on the phone, and then we met at Starbucks (I love Starbucks BTW) the second week of December. We discussed what area we wanted to live in and our wants for the house. Deonte and I wanted to stay in Smyrna, but we were also open to moving to Antioch. We had both previous lived in Antioch, so we were familiar with the area. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to be a couple exists up 24. We wanted at least 3 bedrooms, 2 levels, large kitchen and master bedroom, and a bonus room. I wanted a formal dining room and a shower and garden tub in the master bath. Oh, and Cassidy wanted a play room and a backyard for her tree house. Our budget was $250,000 and we wanted a move-in ready home or new construction. Garren created us a daily home search so that we could start scheduling to visit homes that we were interested in. We started receiving the search lists immediately. I looked forwarded to getting the emails, but I also wanted to find something that I loved. That was not happening, they were either really old and needed a lot of work or very small and overpriced! I mean seriously, who comes up with this stuff.
